Spring is sprunging. Industrial Archaeology gone wild & eclipses over Eden.

Taken two days before the Spring equinox a stand of naturalised primroses shine from the shade.
Taken on the trail around Eden.

Much of my borrowed landscape is former industrial land.  The whole area around me was either farmed or mined for tin & kaolin.  Now those industries have declined the landscape has rewilded where it's been allowed.
This steel pipe is about one hundred years old & colonised by mosses & ferns as it slowly declines.

This old granite built blacksmith shop is now hidden in the woods & looks more like a lost inca
temple than a former hive of industry.

And to the eclipse.
Not having the correct lenses or filters to photograph the eclipse properly I decided to include it in the landscape.
Taken across & above the Eden domes on a cold & misty morning added atmosphere.
In truth if no one had told me the eclipse was happening I would only have noticed the drop in temperature & the dusk like light but 'twas nice anyway.
